This is disgusting.

So, this is the real story behind that famous plastic surgery meme.

Let me get this out of the way first: in this meme why did the original creator of the meme immediately went for the woman? Why did the original creator instantly said that the one who got stuff done was the wife? Obviously because the only one who got procedures done are women. Why people hate women so much?

There, I got rid of my man-hating stance. Rolls my eyes.

That thought aside, guys, let's talk about the meme, plastic surgery, and the story.

The first time I saw this was on facebook in middle school. I remembered cringing and felt so bad for the children at that time. At that time I was just getting into KPop thing and when talking about KPop, plastic surgery is something that WILL ALWAYS come up no matter what.

(You guessed it right, this meme got into my facebook feed because someone who hated KPop that went to my school shared it. Ha)

For example:

me: wow listen to her voice! Her voice is awesome!
other people: wow. she must've had shitloads of plastic surgery.

me: wow! look at his dance! How can somebody move like that???? Wow.
other people: wow, look at that nose, he must've had buttloads of plastic surgery.

My stance on plastic surgery has changed over the years as I got older (and hopefully wiser). At that time, I was like, oookay, whatever but now, I can't help but think what the frickfrack guys, I am talking about his/her singing/dancing. I don't think the fact that he/she had a procedure done on her/his face won't affect her/his singing/dancing that much.

Some people might say that they don't agree because if you do plastic surgery you are not grateful for what the heaven has given you. Yeah, let's not get into religion related stuff because it'd get complicated in 0.0000000000000000000000000000001 second.

I don't think I have to go on a long, long, long-ass preach on how the society has screwed up our self-esteem. You have to look like this to be considered worthy of something or if you don't look like this, no wonder you can't find this and that. It has been conditioned that way, okay.

Anyways.

The story behind the meme is: the meme is an ad for some print company. Everyone in that meme is not related, like, at all. The kids were photoshopped to look like that. The five people in the pictures were models. They came to the set, got make-up done, got dressed up, and took the picture.

The story that accompanied the meme: The husband sued the wife because she lied about not having plastic surgery. When their children came out, the husband was confused because the children looked so whatthefrickfrackImadethat. The wife lost the lawsuit, husband won.

(why do we hate women so much, guys)

I know, I know, the original creator of this meme probably did not mean it to be viral, yaddayaddayadda but they were still partially responsible. All of us who shared and laughed and shamed the wife in the story were also responsible for ruining the model's career.

Sure, I am sure, like, we couldn't have known about the whole story BUT stories like this should be enough as a warning.
