Mother's Day?

I am going to say this and you all gonna say that I am a bad child for saying this.

I honestly don't know when Mother's Day is.
Everyday is Mother's day yanno.
no

I actually know when Mother's day is. It's the second Sunday of May but in Indonesia, Mother's day is on 22nd of December. So, what I am trying to say is, I don't know when exactly to say happy mum's day to my mum.

But now that I have the time to sit down and to actually think and write unlike my last post when I was just sitting blasting BTS' upbeat songs, I actually got the time to think and write today. Anyways, today is International Mum's Day and everyone on my WeChat and QQ feed are posting heartfelt messages about their mums.

Well, everyone except the Indonesians. Everyone who's not Indonesian on my WeChat and QQ feed are posting heartfelt about their mums. I would like to take this opportunity to talk about Moms. I don't think I have to write loooong, winding message how my mum loves me and supports me and how noble is that because everyone is posting that.

The thing that we often don't mention in our days is a good, healthy relationship with one's mother.

TL;DR not everyone has a great relationship with their mom.

I am forever grateful that I have a great relationship with my mom. She loves me, she supports me, and, yeah, I am forever grateful, thankful, and blessed by the relationship I have with my mom. I honestly don't know how a healthy relationship with a mother is but she loves me, she supports me, and, well, we fight, of course, d'uh. We fight once in a while but at the end of the day, we made up.

There are times where I got frustrated at her, sure, but wells, nothing too serious.

Oh god. Honestly, I don't know how to write this without sounding like a bad child but, the thing is, we often forgot the definition of a mother.

A mother is not just someone who gave birth to you.

I mean, yes, she sacrificed a whole nine months and all to carry you and practically battled death to gave birth to you. It doesn't stop there. A mother is basically someone who raise you, feed you, clothe you. That, too. She had to love you, of course. I am not saying that if you kill someone and she had to help you dump the body BUT she had to love you.

Her love is supposed to come unconditional.

One more thing is that she should not abuse you; physically, mentally, and emotionally.

That is why I am forever grateful that not only I have a Mom but I also have a great relationship with her.
